No. While we may work on moderation, I can help you reach your goals while keeping foods in your diet that you love. I’ll also help you discover delicious & nourishing new foods.
If your favorites are food sensitivities for you, I’ll recommend avoiding them for a time. But once you address the root cause of your sensitivities, you may be able to reincorporate those foods in a way that doesn’t flare up symptoms.

No. Medications can provide amazing benefits that improve a person’s quality of life.
If you are on medications, I will provide nutrition, lifestyle, & supplement recommendations that do not conflict with the medications you are on.
In some cases, Nutritional Therapy can reduce the need for medications. But adjustments to your medications should always be discussed with your prescribing doctor. I am not trained nor licensed to prescribe or change medications.

I have worked with several clients who did not want to take supplements. If you do not want to take supplements, I can easily craft protocols for you without supplements.

Some see changes after their first session. Some take longer. Just like many people didn’t become “unwell” overnight, many people don’t feel “well” overnight either. Typically, faithful adherence to a program over 2-3 months yields clear results. That’s why the Discovery Package includes 6 sessions over 3 months. After that, a monthly membership is a great way to continue seeing nutritional therapy results.

For those in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, in-person sessions can be arranged upon request.

While each focuses on helping individuals & groups make healthy choices, there are some differences:
Dietitians: Diagnose & prescribe specific diets as treatments. Possess specialized training to work in clinical settings, such as hospitals. Also work in research, food industry, public health, & private practice.
Nutritionists: Skilled at using general nutrition principles to meet the needs of an individual. Can implement diets that address health conditions. Work in research, food industry, public health, & private .
Nutritional therapists: Holistically assess a person’s needs and address the root causes of issues using diet, lifestyle, & supplement recommendations. Work in research, food industry, public health, & private practice.

No. But you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on services, or supplements from the Vivek Wellness Dispensary. Please check with your provider.

Individual Follow-up Session Refunds:
Can be cancelled and fully-refunded up to 24 hours in advance.
If cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment, a 50% refund is offered.
There are no refunds for “no-shows”.
Discovery Package Refunds:
If you choose to opt out of the package before its completion, you are responsible for paying the fraction of the package that has been completed, plus an early termination fee of $100.
Monthly Membership Refunds:
If you cancel your monthly membership within 12 months of signing up, you are responsible for a total of 12 monthly payments.
Late to Appointments
If a client is late to an appointment, there is no refund. However, if time allows for it, the client can receive the full allotted time for their session.
All refunds are processed within 30 days to your original form of payment.
